Describe the motion in a sentence and get a document to start from. It picks from the same vocabulary the library is built out of, so what comes back is on the scales — and there is a clear edge to what it will do.
- Where it is
- The sparkle beside the code button, top right of the inspector, or Describe the motion in ⌘K. It opens a box; you write a sentence.
- What it decides
- An axis, a distance, a spring, a fade, a stagger, a layout, and what sits inside each shape. Every one of those is a NAMED choice from the motion system — the same names the curated kits use. It cannot emit a number, so it cannot hand you 23px over 437ms on a curve nobody chose, and what it makes composes with everything else in the library.
- It replaces the stage
- A generation opens as the document you are looking at, and that is not undoable. Save first if there is work open you want to keep.
- You get shapes, not your component
- The boxes are placeholders with the right contents in them — a heading, a line of text, a button, a field, a number. They are there to hold the motion. Paste your own component over them, or pick the parts you want and animate those; the timing survives either way.

- The only thing here that is. Everything else in the editor, every export included, is free — this one has a per-request cost at the other end.

Your sentence goes to Anthropic and nothing else does. We don’t store it; Anthropic keeps it for up to 30 days. That, and every other place your data goes, is on the privacy page.
