You own the animations you create and the code you export. We don’t claim any license to either, and there’s no attribution requirement and no limit on commercial use.

Exported code has no license check and doesn’t call home. It keeps working if you stop using verve, stop paying for anything, or if verve shuts down.

Pasting a component gives us no rights to it. It runs in a sandboxed frame and is only stored if you save the animation it’s in (see Privacy).

You need the right to use the code you paste. If it belongs to your employer or a client, that’s between you and them.

You don’t need an account to use the editor or export. If you make one, it’s for one person, and you’re responsible for what happens under it. Keep access to your email address: it’s how you sign in, and we can’t recover an account we can’t verify.

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country if that’s higher.

You can delete your account at any time in settings.

The editor and export are free. A free account keeps up to 5 saved animations.

Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel.

• Cancel any time from the billing page in settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• We don’t refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
• If the price changes, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
• If Pro ends, you keep every animation you saved. You just can’t save new ones past the free limit until you’re under it.

• Break the law, or infringe someone else’s rights.
• Save or share sexual content involving minors, pornography, or content meant to harass, threaten or promote violence against people.
• Try to break, overload or get around the service, including its rate limits.
• Access accounts or animations that aren’t yours.

A share link is public to anyone who has it, so what you share is on you. Anyone can report a link. We can turn off links, and suspend or delete accounts, that break these terms, with or without notice.

If you think a shared link copies your work without permission, tell us and include the link. We’ll look into it and turn the link off if it does.

verve is provided as is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or right for your purpose. Features change as the product does.

Keep your own copies of work that matters. Exporting gives you code that needs nothing from us, which makes it the best backup there is.

As far as the law allows, verve isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits or lost data, from using the service. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Pennsylvania.

These terms change as the product does, and the date at the top shows when. If a change affects what you own, what we store or what you pay, we’ll say so on the site before it takes effect.
